1. General Provisions:

1.    The organizer of the promotional lottery called "Join iON Basket" is iON LLC, based in Muscat registered in the register of companies under the number 1383992 (Hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer" or "iON Basket")

2.    The lottery is conducted at all registered iON Basket stores regardless of country and location.

3.    the Rules and Regulations of the Promotion are available for review by all interested parties for the duration of the Lottery on the website www.ionbasket.com/lottery.

4.    All times stated in these regulations refer to local time in Muscat - GMT+4.

 

2. Duration of the Lottery:

1.    The lottery starts on December 12, 2022 and ends on 19.12.2022 at 17:00.

2.    The winners will be selected on December 21, 2022 at 12:00 pm.

3. Condition of participation in the lottery

1.    A participant in the Lottery may be a full-fledged natural person, with the exception of persons indicated in paragraph 2 below, who:

a.   Has the full legal capacity

b.   Is a registered activated participant of the iON Basket platform.

2.    Members of the board of directors of the Organizer may not participate in the Lottery

3.    A participant joining the Lottery should familiarize himself with the content of the Regulations. The participant undertakes to abide by the rules set forth in the Regulations, as well as confirms that he/she meets the conditions which entitle him/her to participate in the Lottery.

4.    Participation in the Lottery is voluntary.

4. Prizes:

1.    The total value of the prize pool allocated by the Organizer for winning prizes is 50 OMR (~$130 USD) in words, fifty Omani rials.

2.     The lottery provides for the following prizes (hereinafter referred to as "Prizes"):

a.   First Prize in the form of a coupon worth OMR 30 (in words, thirty Omani rials).

b.   Prize two in the form of a coupon worth 15 OMR (in words, fifteen Omani rials).

c.   Prize three in the form of a coupon worth 5 OMR (in words, five Omani rials)

3.    Any of the prizes listed in Section 2 may be used at any registered iON Basket store upon one-time purchase.

4.    The winner shall not be entitled to exchange a prize of another type.

5.    Prizes are personal and non-transferable, i.e. the Winner is not entitled to transfer the right to obtain the prize to third parties.

5. Draws:

1.    the prize draw will be held on December 21, 2022 at 12:00 p.m.

2.    The draw will be held using online broadcast on the Instagram platform.

3.    Only persons registered in accordance with the provisions of the Regulations at the time of the promotion shall participate in the Lottery.

4.    During each drawing, 9 [SS1]  (nine) reserve persons will also be drawn in case of failure to contact the main prize winners .  

6. Rules for issuing prizes to winners:

1.    Subject to paragraph 3 below, the Organizer shall contact the Winner by telephone at the telephone number assigned to the registered account. The Organizer contacts the prizewinner by phone no later than within 3 working days after a given drawing - in order to inform him/her about the prize drawing and the terms of its issuance. The Winner is obliged to confirm his/her participation in the Lottery and provide his/her personal data (name and surname) and email address.

2.    If the first attempt to call is unsuccessful within the time limit indicated in paragraph 1 above, the Organizer shall make 2 more attempts to call the Winner on the following day at a time of the day chosen by the Organizer. Unsuccessful attempts to call the Laureate are made from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Unsuccessful attempt to call the Laureate is understood as: not answering the call for at least 5 signals, switching on the voicemail, inability to connect with the phone user (e.g. being out of range, phone turned off), refusal to make a call by the Laureate, interruption of the call by the Laureate, answering the call by a person who is not the drawn person, and inability to pass the handset to the Laureate during the phone call.

3.    In the event that, in accordance with the provisions of the Regulations, the Laureate does not meet the conditions specified in the Regulations, or loses the right to the Prize, the Organizer will contact the first Participant from the corresponding reserve list by phone no later than the next business day.

4.    If the Reserve List is exhausted, then the Prize will not be issued and will remain at the disposal of the Organizer.

7. Announcing the results

1.    The preliminary List of Winners and Participants from the Reserve List will be published no later than 3 working days after the draw.  The list will be published on the Organizer's website and available on social media.

8. Processing of personal data:

 

1.    The administrator of the personal data of the Lottery Participants is iON LLC. headquartered in Muscat.

2.    Personal data of Lottery Participants shall be processed in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR....

3.    personal data are processed for the purpose of:

a.   organizing, and conducting the Lottery, including verification and selection of Lottery winners.

b.   Release of the Prize - in the case of Lottery Winners including documentation of this fact for marketing purposes.

4.    The Administrator informs that in the case of personal data of Lottery participants provided by registration to the iON Basket platform, the personal data will be processed in accordance with the privacy policy available on the Organizer's website.

9. Final Provisions:

 

1.    Any amendment to the Regulations shall require the prior approval of the Board of Directors of iON LLC.

2.    Whenever the Terms and Conditions refer to working days, they shall mean days from Sunday to Thursday inclusive, excluding public holidays.

3.    Prize Winners may be asked by the Organizer to consent to the recording and publication of the Winner's image for promotional purposes related to the Lottery (photo, video, voice) in the mass media, including but not limited to on the Organizer's website www.ionbasket.com on the social networks META, Twitter, Pinterest and Reddit, on posters, advertisements in the press or advertising newspapers.

4.    In matters not regulated by these Regulations, the provisions of Omani law shall apply accordingly.
